New Tappan Zee Bridge Construction

Barges and cranes, under and adjacent to the existing Tappan Zee Bridge, are part of the equipment in place to lay the pilings for the foundation of the new Tappan Zee Bridge, spanning the Hudson River between Westchester and Rockland counties in New York.  The current schedule has the new bridge beginning to carry traffic in 2016 and completed in 2018.
